You will see here a selection of the quilts that I have made or a few that have been the product of one of my workshops. I hope that you enjoy browsing amongst the images.
The altar frontal at St Mary the Virgin Church of England church, Gillingham, Dorset. The design was one of my original "Trad Jazz" patterns and worked by the ladies of the sewing group of the church. With help from members of the North Dorset Quilters.
A close up of the design showing the inter-locking pieces. The colours were chosen to reflect the stained glass in the church - which it did beautifully. I have to admit to feelings of pride when I saw this as I walked into the church and looking down the aisle the colours just glowed at me.

Completed 2007
The original central motif which I replaced was contemporary with the building of the church in the 1860s. It had been moved to a new backing cloth a couple of times but was beginning to disintegrate

This quilt was made by Quilters Guild members and went to Japan to be displayed. The brief was to depict something that represented your region. I chose Stonehenge (middle top) to represent Region 3. This quilt is now hanging in the Members Tea Room at the Guild Museum in York.
